Network Boxes

PC-DNC will work with wired and wireless configurations or a combination of the two. We recommend a wireless system because of the following benefits:

  • Eliminates the possibility of blown serial ports due to power surges or "ground-loop" conditions.

  • Eliminates the cause of many data transmission errors that occur when using long RS-232 cables.

  • Simpler and lower cost installation since no long cables are run. This can be challenging in shops with tall ceilings or when over head cranes are present.

The following three network boxes have a proven track record of working reliably with PC-DNC and in a machine shop environment. All are available for purchase so please give us a call and we will configure a custom system for your shop.
